Vincent Van Great continues to display his diverse array of styles, collaborators and influences
in his latest album Ladies Please. Releasing to the public on August 25th 2023, the 35-minute
pop showcase is one that, as the title suggests, is made for the ladies - while the clubs will enjoy
being a secondary market. Each song is danceable, upbeat, yet unique from the others.
The Milwaukee-based producer has fully shifted into pop/contemporary R&B, bringing in friends
from near and far to contribute to the self-produced project: nationally renowned comedian
Lahna Turner as well as Milwaukee-based musicians like Klassik, Genesis Renji, Paper
Holland, past collaborator Amanda Huff and SistaStrings (currently experiencing national
attention as they are touring with Brandi Carlile). VVG’s backing band Ninja Sauce is also
featured.
Vincent Van Great’s Ladies Please will have the listener continuing to hit that “Rewind” (Track
11) button, without a doubt. Positive messages abound in the song lyrics (Track 12, Star Track),
and VVG shows respect to the women around him in his writing... His silky voice and brilliant
